If you make such a public comment that the President Lied, than you should be willing to prove it.

And likewise, anyone who claims the Pope lied or the Catholic Church lied should be willing to prove it. I'm not sure you've personally made this claim, but I know that anti-Catholics do. OK, end of topic diversion. Back to the political discussion. Radar

Radar, I'm real close to not voting for McCain at all in the General but only vote for the locals, Congress and Senators other than that I'm just about done with McCain. After he came down on NC and the Republican party here, he just might lose this state. The Republicans here are bent out of shape with him now and if he does lose NC he's finished.
I think it's important to vote for McCain in the General Election, considering the alternative no matter which of the Democrats end up winning. If the Democrat wins, all laws that protect abortions will be overturned, a pro-abortion judge will be appointed after the retirement of any current judges, we'll effectively surrender in the war against al Qaeda in Iraq, we'll be forced to pay for abortions with out tax dollars, military spending will be drastically cut to the point of endangering our nation, and who knows what else will happen. Remember, Bill Clinton was President while al Qaeda was planning the September 11 events; and the tragic result came less than 8 months into President Bush's term of office. If I sat out every election where I didn't agree totally with either candidate, I would never have voted to this day. But it's important to pick the best person, knowing they're not your best choice if you had that choice. That's the reality of democracy. No one said it was perfect. It's just the best form of government around today.

Hello Radar, I know your heart in this matter means well. But f you think John McCain is going to help the abortion issue you are mistaken. We will never ever be able to turn that abortion law over it will never happen. First of all you have far too many who want to keep these laws as is. Many sad to say are Roman Catholics and I know that makes you mad but its the truth and YOUR Church has done nothing at all to those Catholics who for years have supported the killing of the un-born baby. So this election is all about the Congress and the Senate and we need to vote for those who support our views. If we do that than we control the PRESIDENT, if not than America loses.
This Country is in serious trouble and we are just seeing the beginning of Tribulation. This country and the World is being set up to receive the Anti-Christ. You can see it more and more each day. I sit and watch those people who are screaming and jumping for a man like Obama and I just know in my heart they are dead in spirit and they will be so ready for the MAN of Sin to come on the scene. They only care about themselves and that's it. Bible Prophecy is being fulfilled right before our eyes.

I believe the election is about the Congress (House and Senate) and the President. The President has veto power, and it's unlikely that there will be enough pro-life votes there to overturn any presidential veto. It makes more sense to elect a President who may or may not sign pro-life legislation than one we know will definitely veto any pro-life legislation. Even if Roe v Wade is overturned, that wouldn't stop abortion. It would simply turn the matter back over to the states, and we'd have 50 abortion battles going on. But we need judges to uphold the pro-life laws that pro-aborts are trying to get repealed. And to get pro-life judges, we need a pro-life President, even if he's only somewhat pro-life. And that's why I'm voting for McCain, and why I think every pro-life person should vote for him. You can bet every pro-abortion person will be voting for whichever Democrat wins - they're both pro-abortion to the core.
