In order to fit your theory into a Friday Crucifixion you have to jump through all those hoops, do you really believe in your heart that God is that confusing?

It is not jumping through hoops or confusing. I just gave many examples of what I was talking about.

Matt 27:62, Mark 15:42, Luke 23:53-54, and John 19:31 say it was the day of preparation (the day prior to Sabbath) that he was crucified on.

Matt 28:1, Mark 16:1-2, Mark 16:9, Luke 24:1, and John 20:1 explicitly say it was the first day of the week (the day after Sabbath) that he rose on.

What is complicated and jumping through hoops is trying to explain how all those verses don't mean what they say, just because you want to take a figure of speech (which can be shown to be a figure of speech) as entirely literal. Do you really believe in your heart that God is that confusing?
