2 Timothy 3:16. Excellent point Cheezit! To start dividing up the Word and deciding for ourselves what applies and what doesnt, seems to me a prime example of that taking away from the Word that scripture so strongly warns against.

Hi Cym

2Ti 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

Do you and Cheezit have any idea at all what you're talking about? Are we under the Law or Grace. If so then why are you and Cheezit under the law and the doctrine of that law in the OT is your going to claim 2 Tim. 3:16 is saying jsut that. The problem you ahve is that it doesn't say that at all. All it says is all scripture both OT and NT are inspired by God and it is profitable for Doctrine ( OT law and Faith & NT under Grace) .....what both you and Cheezit are doing is adding the OT law's and it's doctrines to the NT Grace.

I have ask you, and Art and others about the verses I have presented to you from the Sermon on the Mount and none of have have been able to give me an answer.

Now I'll ask you my friend are we under Grace of the Law? After you answer that , read Matt. 5: 17-20

here is verse 20

Mat 5:20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

In these verses our Lord is talking to who? The JEWS. and He says EXCEPT YOUR RIGHTEOUSNESS,,now since when does our Righteousness puts us into the Kingdom of Heaven which by the way is a physical event in the Millennium. So can you answer the question for me. I did this yesterday for you and I haven't seen any answer yet.
