Read the beattitudes, especially Matt 5: 43-48.

They don't apply doctrinally to Christians.

They don't apply to Christians?!! Here's a news flash for you. The entire Bible applies to Christians. It may not have been written *to* Christians specifically, but it applies to Christians in their lives just the same. That is, unless you think that the word "ALL" in 2 Timothy 3:16 doesn't mean what it says.

I'm curious though. How do you decide what applies to Christians and what doesn't? If it speaks against something you plainly do, then it doesn't apply to Christians? Is that how it works? Because that is the message you seem to be sending.
