The KJVOnly moniker is a false identifier only said to inflame.
I have to admit, that's the first time I ever heard that one.

I've said numerous times that I have no problem with those that want to use the KJV exclusively. I use it myself. Just not exclusively. What I *DO* have a problem with is when a person (not you Tim) that does hold to that belief either says or insinuates that I am not a Christian because I don't hold to their particular beliefs about Bible versions. If that ridiculous claim were even remotely close to true, there would never have been any Christians before the year 1611.

I believe that the Textus Receptus (the Greek NT) and the Masoretic Hebrew Text (Hebrew OT) to be the preserved word of God.
That's perfectly fine. Nothing at all wrong with that at all. A lot of people believe the very same thing. But the fact is it is personal preference based on various studies they may have done. But why are those that may not happen to feel the same way, based on studies that *they* may have done, sometimes treated with the same disdain as a cockroach doing the backstroke in pond scum?
