Cheezit,
The KJVOnly moniker is a false identifier only said to inflame. I believe that the Textus Receptus (the Greek NT) and the Masoretic Hebrew Text (Hebrew OT) to be the preserved word of God. I said that I do not as do others believe that everybody must learn English and read the KJV to have the Word of God. That is why the moniker KJVOnly is false. I believe that the KJV translators translated the texts faithfully, accurately and diligently that we have the preserved Word of God in the English language in the KJV. The other modern versions are translated from a whole different group of manuscripts, and they are so different there is a problem. The modern translations leave out entire verses and words. Go look at Mark 16:9-20 in the NIV with the footnotes that claim that these verses really have no authority to be in the text and have been added at a later date. That alone should cause every Bible believer to toss the NIV into the fire. It is not a preference but a conviction based on facts, like the fact that 90% if all manuscript evidence supports the KJV while only 10% supports the modern versions? How do you come up with a translation with only 10% manuscript evidence? You piece this and that together and claim you have a Bible. Read the books by Edward Hills and see what he says he believes they did compared to the KJV translators simply translating the manuscripts.

Proverbs 29:2 "When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn."
