John MacArthur wrests scriptures in Matthew that applies to Israel and slaps them onto the church.
No he doesn't.
Prove it.
Quote him saying that.

This is how is came up with the "Lordship Salvation" mess with his Gospel According To Matthew book.
It's "The Gospel According To Jesus" book actually. (You don't even know the title.)
And what's wrong with "Lordship Salvation"?
Isn't Jesus LORD?
Shouldn't somebody accept the true Jesus who is Lord to be saved?

Romans 10:9
that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

What are we to confess?
The LORD Jesus. Not just the Savior Jesus. He is Lord or He is not our Savior.

That's what "Lordship Salvation", (An expression not found in the Bible.), is.
What's wrong with that?
It's Biblical salvation as Jesus and the Apostles preached.

Google Regular Baptists (General Association of Regular Baptists). They are huge up north.
Wil
I will. This is the first I've heard of them.
If they think any Christians are going to be in hell for 1,000 years or one second they certainly have never read Romans 8:1.
