Have any of you ever asked yourself why Paul said we shouldn't be worried about tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword, death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature seperating us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord? Who ever worries about losing their salvation because of those things? Usually you worry because of your sin and wickedness. Any thoughts?

Hi Wil

I have given this some thought over the years and these particular verses also go along with other verses which are similar. By that I mean, whenever the scriptures talk about tribulation , sorrow, any of the plagues mentioned by Moses, death, ...... none of things can ever touch our Spirits as along as you're saved. We do suffer what all of mankind suffers but never in a Spiritual sense.

When I our Lord says:

Joh 6:35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

Now this is what I'm talking about

Shain1611

"SANCTIFY THEM THROUGH THY TRUTH: THY WORD IS TRUTH
(John 17:17)

And Jesus Speaking; " He that rejecteth me, receiveth not my words, hath one that, judgeth him:the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in
( John12:48 KJV)
