Hi John - Merry Chirstmas to you too !!

I dont think we should bail out the auto industry. They failed because of greed. And lets face it they could of built the cars that Americans wanted (better quality/price) once they saw that other auto makers were leading in sales. But did they ? Unfortunately it hurts the assembly makers the most and not cooperate. Even in 'bail out times' they are still not feeling it as much as the others. I have to admit for the first time ever in my life I bought a Hyundai -Sante Fe. (Ive always had American- but usually had problems with them when I shouldnt of.. the quality wasnt there.. I was starting to think I just had bad luck and bought lemons.. ) I was happy to know that they are made in Alabama -employing Americans. (not to mention I love the quality of it-so far)

And on that note, I dont think we should bail out homeowners who lived beyond their means- bought expensive houses when they shouldnt of- they are the same ones with a ton of debt. It makes me angry. Sure I could of had a gorgeous-huge house- but realized I needed to pay for other expenses and couldnt really afford a higher price tag of a house. I dont blame the banks either- its just greed on the buyers part. Im glad they are cutting back now, and not making it as easy to get loans- unfortunately it hurts those that were doing the right thing all along.

Sorry to rant, it just makes me sick- that our country is always putting band-aids on things, and handing out pacifiers, rather than dealing with it from the start and hold people accountable.
