Grandmaclair:
It really would not matter how many differences were pointed out to you, you would just explain them away. I showed you one place where KJB and the NKJV were exactly opposite in meaning, but that was not enough for you to see a corruption. I expect that you would do the same with just about anything else that was shown to you. If your definition of corruption is changing God from a He to a she, then you will allow far too much corruption past without noticing it. For me, the slightest change is corruption, such as changing "by him" to "through him" In John 1 diminishes the role of Jesus Christ to a passive agent in creation, rather than being the active agent of creation. See other post for more.

Mari, it is very interesting to me that NONE of the modern versions are bad enough for any of these non-KJBers to criticize, but they get all excited when they think that they have found THE ERROR that "proves" the KJB to be in error. Like satan hasn't been trying that since 1611! If God tarries, The Book that I preach from will still be the standard of perfect truth when all of the books that claim to be God's Word today and those that support them have passed from the scene to await the time when their doubting of God's promises must be answered before Him.

I think that I am beginning to understand a little bit how Jesus felt when Peter in all sincerity tried to talk Jesus out of going to Jerusalem. I can just imagine the sad look on His face, and the shake of His head, after he rebuked satan who was using Peter, "Get thee behind me".
