Brother Tim,
Thanks for your response.
You have introduced the idea that the Holy Spirit caused the KJV translators to produce a perfect translation without their knowledge. Hopefully you agree that whether or not it was a perfect translation, the translators themselves were not aware of it.
When you make such a claim you should be able do demonstrate why you believe it. And your proof should demonstrate not only that the KJV is better than all other Bibles, but that it is absolutely perfect.
Until you can convince me otherwise I will take the very same position that that the translators took, that is, that their translation could be considered the Word of God, even though there were places where the English meaning was uncertain, or places where they might have chosen the wrong wording for the text.
Hopefully you can see that they argued strongly against the very positon that you and other KJVO believers hold today.
My original premise was the the KJV accepts multiple versions. Do you agree that there can be two versions of the same text that do not have the same wording (the two examples I cited originally), and yet both of them can be considered Scripture?
