Grandmaclair,
If God is the Son of God then when was He begotten?
John 1:1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God.
John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his ONLY SON.

If I was to say on Monday, "I baptize you in the name of the Father, The Son and the Holy Ghost"; and Then on tuesday I say, " I Baptize you in the name of the Lord " is there any difference between the two?

First of all I would say that I was baptize correctly on Monday and would have no need to be baptized in just the name of the Lord of Tuesday.
I haven't checked this out. Are you saying the NIV talks about baptism in the name of the Lord only.

I guess I would have to study this to see what you are saying. I don't recall ever hearing anyone baptize in the name of the Lord only. It has always been all three to indicate it is the trinity. In the old testament Lord God is referring to God (although the trinity is there just not known yet) and in the new testament Lord Jesus is also God (the trinity is still there but is usually included in the reference of baptism or salvation which is where the work of the Holy Spirit comes in). But who are those who leave out the third part of the trinity and baptizes in only the name of the Lord?

This is just off the top of my head because I have never thought this out before or thought it could be an issue. Feel free to correct me if I am thinking amiss, and I'll try to see your point.

Psalm 71:18 Now also when I am old and grayheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation, and thy power unto everyone that is to come.
