Gyh, I am not going to respond to you any further, I am not angry and I am just tired of you making baseless accusations.
I can defend God and scripture all day long, but sadly most non-believers resort to the same old tactics...
I am angry, I am uneducated, I do not understand my Bible...blah blah blah!!
Quote:

The hard-line Born Again Christian will be inhibited in learning for himself about life, asking ultimate questions, or even working through and understanding his personal problems, since as we have seen, he is told to "give them to the Lord" and pray them away. It is imagined that the Holy Spirit will miraculously intervene to solve one's problems. In fact, to try to solve them oneself would be sin; it would be acting "in the flesh," i.e., sinful self-sufficiency. Psychologically this kind of "spiritual growth" may result in the retardation of personal growth.

I am sorry you feel you must attack my character.
I am anything but angry.
This paragraph here shows you do not really know what Christians believe. There are some radicals out there mostly cultist who believe this, but they are not what anyone here would call Born Again Believers. I imagine because of your experience with the RCC, you have many misconceptions as to what we as Christians believe.
I will allow you to regroup, before I reply to you again. Because I really need not discuss this with someone who already has their mind made up about what Christians believe, however wrongly, and finds it necessary to attack me personally.
I pray you open up your heart to listen instead of criticize.
Keep in mind you are on a Christian message board, you came into our house, an invited guest, do not think that because we desire your presence that means we are searching, we are home, you are in our house. All are welcome, but we will not deny the Truth that is God, to make a guest more at ease. We do not need to entertain you gods, or your notions of gods. There is room for only One God in our house.
