Because Sceince is fact, not faith. I know I am sitting here typing on this computer because I have proof of me doing so. There is no story to that only fact.

I am sorry if you think because someone defends their faith, that somehow makes them angry or weak, says a lot about you. Do you always accuse people of being weak or angry when they do not agree with you? That is odd.--MGB

Your posts have come across as angry not just in this thread. And that, my friend, says a lot about you. You should be able to defend your faith in a rational logical manner.

The hard religious line method of your reasoning fosters unquestioning acceptance of prepackaged answers. This kind of acceptance of "arbitrary answers" and "rigid, confined, and stereotyped religious thinking patterns can be directly contributory to emotional instability." The hard-line Born Again Christian will be inhibited in learning for himself about life, asking ultimate questions, or even working through and understanding his personal problems, since as we have seen, he is told to "give them to the Lord" and pray them away. It is imagined that the Holy Spirit will miraculously intervene to solve one's problems. In fact, to try to solve them oneself would be sin; it would be acting "in the flesh," i.e., sinful self-sufficiency. Psychologically this kind of "spiritual growth" may result in the retardation of personal growth.
