Just as a point of interest, the Aramaic word bar translated into English as 'son' or 'Son' wasn't capitalized as there were no cases in Aramaic. The KJV 1611 renders it in the lower case.

Also, I am not as familiar with Aramaic as I am with Greek, and, to a lesser extent, Hebrew, but I am pretty sure that there is no definitive article to determine whether it should be translated as "the" or "a."

Regardless, it is translated as "the Son of God" in the 1769 Cambridge KJV, as well as most modern translations.
