Norton also noted: "Besides these, at least thirty old readings, of which twenty-two are spelling of names, were reintroduced" (p. 115).

Norton's note at that place gives a list of those readings, which are Pure Cambridge Edition readings.

It is possible that he does not give Ezra 2:26 because it is not an "old reading" in the KJB. It is in fact a Bishops' Bible reading. Norton shows this in his continual reference to the Bodleian Library Manuscript.

Overall, I find that Norton's information is more accurate than the typical information found about KJV editions in KJV-only books.

To this time, Rick, I find your information on the above to be more accurate in the same way. However, we now have KJBOs who are believing that there is a pure, correct and standard KJB edition. This has required looking at and understanding the word differences lists, and interpreting such things in a Biblically consistent way. Therefore, I have been able to refute Norton's interpretation while accepting most of his facts. To this time I have not found one KJBO person who has likewise rejected Norton (outside anyone who has been talking with me on this forum, that is).

Even you (Norris) imply that Norton is not 100% right.
