Quote:
It is also important to understand that the translators of the King James Bible found some Hebrew words rare, hard or disputable in meaning, and therefore relied upon the Septuagint to clarify the meaning of a Hebrew word. Thus, without providential placement of the Septuagint, the King James Bible would not be accurate. It is therefore unhistorical and anti-1611 translators to deny or reject the Septuagint.

A few things need to be said here: There is no known BC LXX mss available. And if there are any they would be fragments and not from any books beyond Deut. We know now that is the case, therefore any attempt to say the Apostles quoted a Greek OT would be a lie because nothing the other side has are from the first five books of the OT. Remember as of 2007 there has been no one on the other side who has been able to produce a full BC Septuagint after saying since 1881 they had all kinds of proof. A piece of paprrus, or several pieces of papyri does not an OT Greek Septuagint make.
