Leaving off my conjecturing now, I will come to several points of issue, so that we may focus and be more constructive.

1. The DSS witnesses of the Hebrew Text BC are in substantial agreement with the Hebrew Text as supplied by the Masoretes.

2. That without knowledge of the DSS, it was believed by Protestants that the Masoretic had preserved the true text, but that there was some corruption in several places; and that the translators of the KJB sometimes did not follow the main text of the Masoretic shows that it was sometimes corrupt or less than perfect, though totally and holistically all true readings would have been found in the Hebrew.

3. That with the knowledge of the DSS, we find that the KJB OT is very very close to a portion of the witness in the DSS. (Thus, how well the preservation of the Masoretic is.)

And fourth, a question, in regards to the early Greek speaking Christians, did they not adopt the LXX as the OT, and did not this in some way come to a difference of view between those Christians and the Jews in regard to the Hebrew? (And was not the Hebrew actually superior to the LXX, but the Christians were promoting the LXX?)
