Well, Holy, Bible,Then many Christian beliefs like the Virgin Birth in the translation of Isaiah 7:14 in Matthew 1 have no merit. After all, Mark , the oldest Gospel never mentions a Virgin Birth.

It is assumed virgin appears in the Septuagint . But Aquila's Greek translation has neannis (young woman) in Isaiah 7:14

In my opinion there were 3 Greek Septuagints: The original made in Alexandria in the second or third century BC. The one used by Christians in the late first century AD, which tried to support certain views on Jesus, and the one from Aquila in Judea which tried to make the Hebrew Masoretic text into Greek for Jews who felt the Christian Septuagint was corrupt.
