bibleprotector:Sound teachers have promoted the idea that the seven Churches in Revelation, while being literal, have also applied to seven portions of Church history.

I hardly hold Darby, Branham, or any of those who've believed their garbage as "sound". Darby was largely responsible for introducing this heresy to the general public. As Conway twitty sang, "It's Only Make-Believe".

This seems to be fairly commonly held, because various people will refer to the present age as "Laodicean". This is probably one of the few areas where both full futurists and many historicists agree in their interpretations on the book of Revelation.

Didja ever stop & think that they are simply...WRONG?

The Philadelphia age was the time when the KJB went everywhere in power.

THE PHILADELPHIA AGE WAS WHEN IT WAS CAPITAL OF THE USA.

It was the time when the Pure Cambridge Edition came to pass. Despite the rise of secularism, evolution, modernism, cults, ecumenism, communism, nazism, modern versions and so forth, the Philadelphia age remains the time of the greatest material increase of the Bible. You know very well the might of Queen Victoria's empire. But if you do not hold the KJB to be anything special...

This is nonsense.

There's not one blip of Scripture suggesting any "church ages" , nor is there any scripture supporting the KJVO myth. I reject all yer hooey as being unscriptural.
