Good Morning!!! Remember as a child being afraid of darkness? As an adult being nervous of walking down a dark road? The dark is connected to evil, why are bars dark? When you go to a haunted house on halloween why are they dark? Sometimes we allow our hearts to become dark, thats a problem if your a Christian. If this is happening to you Ask God to shine His light into the darkness of your heart. Ask Him to reveal your doubts and fears. Ask Him to reveal your sin that lies covetously in your heart. Then get ready for a blessing. Draw up close, because when you repent, He'll reach in with healing forgiveness.If your not a Christian don't allow your hearts, and life to continu in darkness call upon the Lord....
Love

Psalm 27:3
Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.

For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.

Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice: have mercy also upon me, and answer me.
Psalm 27:8
When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek.

When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up.
Psalm 27:11
Teach me thy way, O LORD, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies.
Psalm 27:12

I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.
Psalm 27:14
Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.
The Light Of God's Countenance
Psalm 4:6
There be many that say, Who will shew us any good? LORD, lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us.
Luke 11:34
The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness.
Luke 11:35
Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness.
Luke 11:36
If thy whole body therefore be full of light, having no part dark, the whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a candle doth give thee light.

How easy it is to be deceived when we are not walking in the light of God's Word. Charles Lindbergh tells about the time he was flying in a dense fog over Newfoundland. He noticed moisture beginning to freeze on the wings of his plane and thought, "This great adventure is going to come to an untimely end. What shall I do?"

Then, he had a moment of inspiration. He pulled his plane up and out of the fog and burst into the dazzling sunlight. Have you ever felt like you were living in a fog? Friend, He has a word of encouragement for you. You can get near to the heart of God. His light can shine even in the darkest corner of your heart.

Let your light so shine that the world may see
How to come to Christ who will set them free;
Let its rays gleam bright when the darkness falls,
Till each sinful soul for the Savior calls.
  • Let your light shine, let your light shine,
    Let your light so shine before men;
    That they your works beholding, that they your works beholding,
    May glorify the Father’s name in heav’n.
Let your light so shine everywhere you go,
Till the tribes of earth Jesus Christ may know;
Let its rays transpose into perfect day,
When the clouds of gloom shall be swept away.
Let your light so shine that its beams may reach
Every darkened soul, thus the gospel preach;
Let it brighter shine till that endless day,
Bursts upon our sight ne’er to pass away.
Let your light so shine every day and hour,
That the truth be clothed with divinest pow’r;
Let it brightly shine and promote God’s cause,
To exalt His name and His holy law.
