Good Morning!!! How is your walk these days? We sometimes get so comfortable in the world, that even when we are in the word, in church we still get backslidden. Be on guard, don't fall into the world it will cost you. Pray before you are out of bed ask the Lord to keep your eyes, and ears open to what is around you. Pray that you will stand on the word, and not slip into the world, but that you will keep on the right path. Ask the Lord to keep you in His will.
Have a Wonderful Day!!!
Love
Cheryl

Are You Backsliding With A Bible Under Your Arm?

Philippians 3:10

That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

Philippians 3:11

If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.

Did you know that you can backslide with a Bible under your arm? You can know the letter, but the letter kills if you are not clean. The test of your Bible Study is not how many facts you know or how fast you can take apart a Greek verb and put it back together. The test is: Are you becoming like Jesus because you spent time in His Word?

Philippians 2:17

Yea, and if I be offered upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I joy, and rejoice with you all.

Philippians 2:18 For the same cause also do ye joy, and rejoice with me.

There is a fountain filled with blood,
Drawn from Immanuel’s veins,
And sinners plunged beneath that flood
Lose all their guilty stains.

The dying thief rejoiced to see
That fountain in His day;
And there have I, though vile as he,
Washed all my sins away.

Dear dying Lamb, Thy precious blood
Shall never lose its pow’r,
Till all the ransomed church of God
Are safe, to sin no more.

E’er since by faith I saw the stream
Thy flowing wounds supply,
Redeeming love has been my theme,
And shall be till I die.

When this poor, lisping, stamm’ring tongue
Lies silent in the grave,
Then in a nobler, sweeter song,
I’ll sing Thy pow’r to save.
