Good Morning!!!! I realize when we are facing trials and tough times its hard to smile and be grateful. However the Bible says we are blessed when we hold up and head and say Thank You Lord for this hardship. Something that helped me when my children seemed to be going through some major medical issues some years back. My oldest daughter was facing brain surgery, I was having a feel sorry for me day and she said "Mom don't feel sad look at all the other children, and adults with much worse problems" This woke me up (However I still need to kick myself sometimes). Many many others have much harder things and yet we focus on me, me, me.Also don't trust people to make you happy. Trust the Lord with all things, and thank Him for all things. Have a Wonderful Day!!!!

Happiness is a Choice

Psalm 7:17

I will praise the LORD according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the LORD most high.

James 5:11

Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.

Did you know that happiness is a choice?
A man said to a beggar one day, "Good day my friend."
The beggar answered, "Well, thank you, but I never have a bad one."
The man responded, "Well, may God give you a happy life, my friend."
And the beggar replied, "I thank God that I am never unhappy."
The man was speechless. And the beggar continued, "When I have plenty to eat, I thank God. When I am hungry, I thank God. If it is God's will for me to endure this, then whatever is God's will for me makes me happy."
He chose to be happy.

Proverbs 15:13

A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken.

What do you want? Do you want to be happy? Then choose to be happy today no matter your circumstances...by praising God.

You who dwell in the shelter of the Lord,
Who abide in His shadow for life,
Say to the Lord, "My Refuge,
My Rock in Whom I trust."

And He will raise you up on eagle's wings,
Bear you on the breath of dawn,
Make you to shine like the sun,
And hold you in the palm of His Hand.
The snare of the fowler will never capture you,
And famine will bring you no fear;
Under His Wings your refuge,
His faithfulness your shield.

And He will raise you up on eagle's wings,
Bear you on the breath of dawn,
Make you to shine like the sun,
And hold you in the palm of His Hand.
You need not fear the terror of the night,
Nor the arrow that flies by day,
Though thousands fall about you,
Near you it shall not come.

And He will raise you up on eagle's wings,
Bear you on the breath of dawn,
Make you to shine like the sun,
And hold you in the palm of His Hand.
For to His angels He's given a command,
To guard you in all of your ways,
Upon their hands they will bear you up,
Lest you dash your foot against a stone.

And He will raise you up on eagle's wings,
Bear you on the breath of dawn,
Make you to shine like the sun,
And hold you in the palm of His Hand.
And hold you in the palm of His Hand.
