Good Morning!!! How much QUALITY time do you spend with the Lord? The Lord needs our hearts to be with Him. Sometimes even if your doing the Lord's work we get so caught up in details that we forget ur precious alone time with Him. We also get so side tracked in our jobs, hobbies, selfishness we not only neglect time with the Lord but time with our loved ones. Examine yourself see what time you have for the Lord, loved ones, and burnables!!!!

Psalm 4:1 Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: thou hast enlarged me

when I was in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer.

Psalm 4:2

O ye sons of men, how long will ye turn my glory into shame? how long will ye love vanity, and seek after leasing? Selah.

Psalm 4:3

But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him.

Psalm 4:4

Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah.

Psalm 4:5

Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the LORD.

Psalm 4:6

There be many that say, Who will shew us any good? LORD, lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us.

Psalm 4:7

Thou hast put gladness in my heart, more than in the time that their corn and their wine increased.

Psalm 4:8

I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.
Making the First Thing the First Thing
Psalm 19:12 Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults.
Psalm 19:13 Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.

I believe in church attendance, but if your relationship with the Lord and with others is suffering, then you need to stay at home and get on your face before God.

Matthew 22:37

Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

Matthew 22:38

This is the first and great commandment.

Matthew 22:39

And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Sometimes a businessman will get very prosperous in his business--and at first it seems a good thing. He tells his wife, "Honey, you know how I couldn't give you much when we got married? Well, now I can." But soon the pursuit of a nice home and nice things consume him. A sadness descends upon his wife and children, and they lament, "Oh, Daddy....Oh, Husband...what we would give to just have you spend time with us."

Ephesians 3:17

That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,

Ephesians 3:18

May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;

Ephesians 3:19

And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

What tragedy it would be if what you do for Jesus keeps you from Jesus. Stop the cycle today.
Stay close by My side,
Keep your eyes on Me,
Though this life is hard,
I will give you perfect peace,

In this time of trial,
Pain that noone sees,
Trust me when I say,
I will give you perfect peace,

And you'll never walk alone,
And you'll never be in need,
Though I may not calm the storms around you,
You can hide in Me,

Burdens that you bear,
Offer no relief,
Let Me bear your load,
Cause I will give you perfect peace,

Stay close by My side,
And you'll never walk alone,
Keep your eyes on Me,
And you will never be in need,
Though this life is hard,
Know that I will always give you perfect peace,
I will give you perfect peace...
