He asked life of thee, and thou gavest it him, even length of days for ever and ever.

His glory is great in thy salvation: honour and majesty hast thou laid upon him.

So many people have the idea that being a Christian is like taking foul-tasting medicine--it tastes awful, but you know you'll feel better one day.

Habakkuk 3:18

Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.

Habakkuk 3:19

The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.

They're like the young man who prayed at a prayer meeting with few in attendance: "Oh God, be with us now, and help us while the rest of the people are out there having a good time."

Romans 5:11

And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.

Do you ever feel that going to church or having a quiet time is like going to the dentist? Then you're getting your satisfaction in life outside of a relationship with God. It's time to spend some time in prayer and ask God to renew your spirit.
Create in me a clean heart
And purify me, purify me
Create in me a clean heart
So I may worship Thee, everybody say it

Create in me a clean heart
And purify me, purify me
Create in me a clean heart
So I may worship Thee
Say it now, say it now

Create in me a clean heart
And purify me, purify me
Create in me a clean heart
So I may worship Thee

Cast me not away from thy presence
Please don't take your spirit from me
And restore the joy of salvation
So that I may worship Thee
Please Lord God

Create in me a clean heart
And purify me, purify me
Create in me a clean heart
So I may worship Thee

Cast me not away from thy presence
Please don't take your spirit from me
And restore the joy of salvation
So that I may worship Thee

Create in me a clean heart
And purify me, purify me
Create in me a clean heart
So I may worship Thee

Create in me a clean heart
And purify me, purify me
Create in me a clean heart
So I may worship Thee
So I may worship Thee
So that I may worship Thee
So that I may worship Thee
So that I may worship Thee
