Hi Jen

When I came out of the RCC its was the Bible that I turned to and that alone. And when I began comparing the RC bibles with the King James Bible I was furious because I seen the deception and lies the RCC was trying to bring on their flock. And every time I came across a verse that contradicted with Rome's teachings I marked it with a red
" C "
I now had a Bible full of red " C's"

I'm truly blessed every time I read and study God's Word, to be honest with you I can't get enough of it. I would say I'm a fanatic with it from early on in the morning until I go to bed. I'm retired now and that's what I do, besides helping around the house and Church.

God Bless you

Shain, you are a thrill! What a testimony to the true Word of God. You can see the difference, and they are ALL Catholic bibles out there and getting worse with every translation. A christian must have discernment if they are to be spared from the deception of these books! Only the Spirit of God can open the eyes of those who are deluded by their contents. I really fear for those who believe they are all the Word of God. It is impossible, as if one word is changed then it becomes the word of men, not God's Word, and hundreds of words are changed, and bring a different message, many times over, no matter what the suppoorters of these atrocious books say! One I found just recently, and that is that they say that the Apostle Paul prayed in tongues privately. Have you ever heard so much rubbish? But great for those of this pursuasion! You really can pick and choose which one you like the best, which suits your life, then go with it.  The conscience then is not affected and you are your own god! Isn't that what people want now? Having itching ears, or wanting to hear what they want to hear, ratrher than the Truth! What a rude awakening one day there will be. It is a serious sin to add to or take away from the Word of God. God knew exactly what He was saying when He promised to keep His Word pure. God does not make mistakes, and He does what he says.

I understand what you are saying when you say you cannot get enough of God's Word. It truely is one thing you can be fanatic about, as this is right and good, as we are to love the Lord our God with all our hearts, minds, soul and strength. This is having a love for God and for His Word, which can only be given by Himself! I find it so exciting, studying the Word, as I find new little gems, but they are not always on the surface, but it is so hard to stop looking, as I find more and more. Surely God's Wod is inexaustable. It is ALIVE, that is why it is so hard to stop. Right now it is 12.20 p.m. and I have been on this computer writing posts all day. So hard to stop when one starts. I have written another two, but have not typed them out yet and posted them, but they will have to wait until tomorrow. I can really understand how the Apostle Paul said that it was good that we were like him, (unmarried) as then we could put all our energy and time into doing God's work. But I do have other responsibilities so cannot do that as I would like. Good to hear from you. It puts a nice finish on my day's work. God continue to bless you, my dear brother in Christ.
