Brian, as I said, I'm done discussing this issue with you....  But I don't intrepret anything....  The Bible clearly says what it says.  You have to interpret it to come up with the Trinity.

Furthermore, I am not intimidated by discussions of the number of people who believe the Trinity nor am I intimidated by how many years any orgainization has been around.  Jesus said, "Many are called".  That means (and no, it's not my interpretation) that not everyone is called.  Jesus also said "Few are chosen".  He also spoke of how many would say "Lord, Lord, have we not built great wonders and did mighty works?"  I'm paraphrasing but you know it's true....Jesus didn't care, he said, "Depart I never knew you!"

NOw, all that I can agree that this is interpretation.  But if you think that there is a rival hypothesis to my notion that just because a movement or theory has great, swelling numbers that it means it's right, I'd like to hear your arguements.  Noah had a church of seven other people and one of them was Ham.  God said he chose Israel not because they were great in number, but because they were few in number.  God called Gideon a great and mighty man when he was cowering in a wine press.

God doesn't care about how many years a demonnation has been around nor does he care about how many people believe in it!  Neither do I.

Gal 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

Jas 2:24
Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.
