There's a difference - The Scriptures are the sure worda God, while the flat-earth stuff was the guesswork of man. And the worda God clearly shows that father, Son, and Holy Spirit are individual, separate, unique, Divine Personages who are at the same time Members of the one Godhead.

The term "Holy Trinity" is an English shortcut for referring to Father, Son, and Holy Spirit collectively, and nothing more. Of course it's not found in Scripture; it's an ENGLISH term. But the DOCTRINE of the Holy Trinity, that the Godhead consists of the THREE individual Personages named above(not three gods) is clearly shown in Scripture.
