Brian....man, I replied to your post and it took me a while...and don't you know it, when I hit reply my internet connection gave out! lol. Well look, I'll just take it from God to not continue in this way as this is really slow progress. Tell you what I'm going to do...I'm going to write some sermons on the subjects we have covered, that way you can get the whole scope of my thinking, and if you have any questions afterward, then you can ask me, but I will answer your question that you posted since you said please. You asked....

"However, there are primary doctrines which, by definition, determine membership in that one body. Mormons call Christ "Lord" (1 Cor 12:3b) and affirm he "is come in the flesh" (2 John 1:7). So why aren't they part of the body? Seriously Jerry, please answer this question - I am not asking it rhetorically."

I will tell you why, it is becase they may call Christ THEIR LORD or A LORD, but they do not say that he is THE LORD. In fact, they say that the Father is a god from another planet and that he sent his Son, another god, here and we are competing with Jesus for Godhood. Yet, that is not really the reason why, but a condition of not being of the body. The real plain and simple answer is because God did not put them in that one body, and that's why. These are orthodox true Mormons anyway. However, for Mormons that have not been totally "mormonified", some may be saved....they are just in the error of adding and taking away from God's word as you and others do. So, at worst some of these so-called mormons are like you, not obeying the Scripture that tells us to not add to or take away from the words of the prophecy of the Book. This is the case of many denominations, like Catholicism....some may actually be saved, yet considered heretical by the Catholic Church and not truly orthodox Catholic....God will deliver them from Babylon though.

I am not your teacher and only wish to share things with you that you may in turn try them by your own knowledge of the Lord. I really don't know any thing. Still learning and growing in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Praying for you and all men that you would also come to the knowledge of the truth and continue to grow in it. I am a sinner, but I have a hope that God through Jesus Christ our Lord will deliver me from my present situation of being a sinner and deliver me from this vile body and I thank him for this promise of eternal life. This is my faith that I share with all my brethren in the Lord who we patiently wait for. Jesus Christ IS come in the flesh.

Rom 8:22-25  For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
