You know me, and you know I care not for orthodoxy or the teaching of any denomination if it does not line up with the Scripture

For myself, I have found that when I learn I am in opposition to orthodoxy, my first reaction is (and should be) "perhaps my private interpretation of scripture is wrong".

Men may condemn us for not understanding and accepting their understanding of it, but that is not a big deal is it?

I have absolutely no problem with someone with limited understanding or uncertainty of orthodoxy. However, when someone has it explained to them, and their reaction is to outright oppose it, reg flags go up.

Hi Brian

The term " Private Interpretation" is always used as a tool for the Roman Catholic Church to attack all true Bible Believers. This somehow gives them the approval for their Doctrine of Papal Infallibility. If one takes it upon ones self for their sole interpreter of scripture than they are in very serious trouble. Scripture interprets itself, line upon line here a little .....( Isa. 28)  and we are guided by the Holy Spirit , ( John 14:26).  If you have true Bible believers that are students of the Bible and agree with each other along with the Support from Scripture than you are in great shape. But if you only have one or two or even a few that agree with you and your scripture support for what you believe is weak than you are standing on shaky ground.
