I agree...let us not forget to THANK AND PRAISE GOD for what He has given us, despite all our troubles. Let us NEVER forget , when seeing one less fortunate,
to say, "Thank You, GOD! There, but for YOUR grace go I. I pray that You will choose to bless those less fortunate also, knowing that all who truthfully
worship You from love and respect of You, will some day be rich beyond human measure in You."

Happy Fourth of July, everyone!
Today's a special day to remember all that we've inherited from our nation that we take for granted. There are a lot of things wrong in the U.S., there have been since we began as a nation. After all, slavery was still acceptable back then. We've advanced in many areas and declined in other areas (legalized abortion being the worst of these). But look at our freedoms. We can live where we wish, have the career and job that we want, live our lives without fear of being arrested because of our opinions, we can worship where we please (and not worship at all if we please - though I pray for those who take that route), we can express out opinions without fear, we vote for our leaders (well, sort of - we do have to trust that the vote count is done fairly and thoroughly, and the Electoral College is a complication to a truly democratic vote), and we can travel where we want without worrying about checkpoints to pass through. To be fair, that's the situation in most of Europe these days and in Australia and many other countries. But most of the nations don't have all of the freedoms that I listed above. In China they're openly allowed to only worship at the official government-sponsored churches, and the Internet use is monitored. And even in the nations that are as free as we are - they weren't that way before the birth of the United States. The French Revolution came after the American Revolution, after all. Happy Fourth of July! Keep it safe! Radar |

Hi Radar
Today I spent about 4 hours watching the History Channel on the American Revaluation it was a great show. It's sad that many of our young today are not taught anything like this in schools anymore.

Darn, I missed it. I haven't been watching much TV lately; sounds like that was a good one.
